I received the box today and it does not work. My girlfriend says that I need to buy an antenna for it to work. How come no one states this? Who has antenna’s sitting around in their homes anymore. So now I have to run to the store to buy a rabbit ear antenna. I wish this was made more obvious on the commercials for converter boxes or on the converter boxes themselves. They should put a sticker label on the box that says “will not work without an antenna hookup”.

We have a Series 2 TIVO that we are told will not accept HD signals. TIVO customer service told us that by using a digital to analog converter, we can continue to use all the functions built into the TIVO. Has anyone reading this experienced positive results by connecting the two boxes in series with a TV?

Ordered the Insignia NS-DXA1 through Amazon. They placed the order with a sub-tier supplier. The unit was never delivered and neither organization has responded to my e-mail inquiries. I wish that I could tell you something about the product, but I can’t review what I don’t have.

i bought the item and it was worth the money. . . the only thing is that u need and antena. . . . still great item
